Entrees Made Easy

Imaging

Entrees Made Easy gives a fun, friendly answer to ìWhatís For Dinner?î by making meal preparation approachable — even for beginners! With such a clear selling point, our team decided to use this concept to create the sound that would separate our client from an industry saturated with similar concepts. Because Entrees Made Easy enjoys strong repeat and referral business, we thought it was important to include information about gift cards, so customers know they can share the Entrees Made Easy experience with a friend or family member. In addition, we wanted to highlight their other "convenience options", such as party planning and dinner assembly performed by the staff.

Copywriting

To create a script for Entrees Made Easy meant that our writer had to go inside the mind of their customer: busy moms, well-meaning dads, friends and families looking to do something more with their meals. When we recognized the convenience, fun and speed at which meals could be made, the rest was easy. The script speaks to the reasons people would want to visit Entrees Made Easy — the time saving set-up, a chance to make meal preparation fun, not to mention a break from microwave cooking! Add a dash of gift card info and delivery options and the finished product was something that made even the most kitchen-challenged among us ready to sign on.

Voice Talent

To create the signature sound, we started with talent selection. Thinking about all of the associations of a kitchen, we sought to evoke a feeling of familiarity for this relatively new concept. Our realization — there's no place like home. No matter how old we get, we all crave the comfort of Mom's kitchen. Fran Taylor was the perfect talent for Entrees Made Easy. A little bit ìBrady Bunchî, she's the sound of fresh-baked cookies and milk. Her warm tone and mellow inflection creates a warm, relaxing experience for listeners — to make everyone feel at home.

Production

When the Entrees Made Easy spot made its way to final production, our engineer sought to create a sense of "delight in discovery", combining the voiced messages with a track from our Adult Contemporary library titled "Sandy Beach". With a light sound, this mid-tempo track mimics the feeling of delighting in what's next — kind of like making your own Entrees Made Easy dinner.
